The wave tea towel design was derived from a paper cut drawing exploring negative space. The way the design flows across the fabric is reminiscent of waves.
This linen tea towel measures 75cm x 48cm and features a matching coloured hanging loop.
Georgia uses the highest quality European linen, which requires fewer pesticides and less water than cotton, and she aims to use organic fabric wherever possible.
Each print is registered by eye, which is part of its charm as it ensures you are getting a truly unique product.
The wave tea towel is printed and sewn in the UK.
Care: Warm wash at 30 degrees Celsius.
About the Maker
When asked why Georgia chose to become a designer and maker, she says, “From as far back as I can remember, I have made things, from peg dolls to papier maché hot air balloons. When the time came to make a decision about my future, an art foundation seemed like a good first step. Since then I have primarily acted on instinct as I gradually started to build a body of work. I decided to launch my own product range in 2013; I love having control over the entire design and production process. I am passionate about ensuring that everything is made to the highest possible standard. As such, I source sound materials made by people who are properly paid whilst supporting British manufacturing. I quickly came to the realisation that in order to tick all of those boxes I would need my own brand so here we are.”
