Where am I based?

I work out of my small studio in an Industrial Estate in South Bermondsey, London.

What is my story?

Originally from London, I studied Embroidery at Manchester. I have been printing for ten years, and since graduating, it has become central to my practice, forming the basis for the majority of my current collections. Georgia Bosson design studio was established in 2013 and has worked on commissions for architects and art collectives, alongside creating contemporary, colourful and tactile homewares and stationery.

 What is my inspiration?

My collections are inspired by a desire to create contemporary textiles exploring themes such as negative space, ephemeral experiences, and sense of place. Through a combination of drawing, printing and embroidery, I built a collection which is designed to be mixed and matched to create a space full of colour and texture.  I am committed to making all of my products in the UK: my fabric is printed in a family-run company just outside of London and my cushions and limited edition stationery is all printed and made in my Bermondsey studio.  I use the highest quality European linen, which requires fewer pesticides and less water than cotton, and I aim to use organic fabric wherever possible. Working with small production runs helps me to keep waste to a minimum, and I often work with limited editions in order to often keep the collection fresh and exciting.
